Case study: Polypharmacy and AI July 2023
A ground-breaking use of AI in primary care could prevent patients prescribed multiple medicines suffering harm by identifying risks before they occur, according to a new study. In addition to improving patient care and potentially saving lives, the study found the potential to save the NHS millions of pounds and free up thousands of hospital beds.
Case study: Eradicating hypertension health inequalities April 2023
A year-long project by two Lambeth GP practices to reduce the significant difference in blood pressure control between their BAME and white patients has eradicated the health inequality gap entirely. In addition, the results show that all patients have benefited, with the practices now providing the best blood pressure outcomes of any primary care network (PCN) in Southeast London.
Case study: Sector-leading training for pharmacists, physician associates and paramedics January 2023
Operose Health believes in developing our teams so that we can stay at the forefront of primary care and provide our patients with the best care possible. In November 2022 over 50 of our employees took part in what we believe is probably the largest single Objective Structured Clinical Excellence (OSCE) session in primary care. The OSCEs are designed by our senior leaders with the aim to test and improve, allied health professionals clinical diagnosis and condition management skills.
