Our Patient Quotes
Mitchison Road Surgery
North London
I’ve had very positive interactions with this practice. Good online access and I’ve always been offered an appropriate appointment very quickly when needed. The GPs I’ve spoke to have all been kind, professional and competent. Prescriptions requests have been dealt with very efficiently and I’ve only had positive experiences with the reception staff who have also been friendly and helpful. It generally hasn’t taken too long to get through on the phone.
Balderton Primary Care Centre
Nottinghamshire
I find the staff here accommodating, friendly, supportive and actually really do care. I consider myself very fortunate to be a member of this practice, the staff here have been there for me throughout some difficult times and have never given up on me. Thank you everyone, keep up the brilliant work!
Purfleet Care Centre
Essex
In all my experiences with the surgery, I have to say they are fantastic. The ease of booking appointments, the friendliness of the receptionists and their understanding when you are distressed (which in most cases is why your contacting the GP to begin with) and the GPs are so helpful. I moved to this surgery about a year back now, having moved from Dartford before, and the experience I have had is like night and day compared to where I came from. Thank you to everyone at the Purfleet Care Centre. As someone who has medical health issues and anxiety, having your support and availability really means the world to me.
GP Practices
Our GP practices care for 700,000 patients across the country. Our use of multi-disciplinary teams, patient app and approach to recruitment means our patients experience better access, outcomes and experience.
Our GP Practices provide patients with:
- Increased access to primary care: Through our ‘digital front door’ patient app we improve same-day access and faster general access, exceeding NHS national averages. Our patient app also provides patients with access to a ‘health coach’ which supports patients through behavioural changes that benefit their overall health and wellbeing – helping to empower patients and improve their health outcomes.
- Improved health outcomes: Data-driven interventions using our in-house population health platform, EZ Analytics, leading to measurable community health improvements and targeted interventions to reduce health inequalities.
- A better patient experience: With greater access, better outcomes and continuity of care – 93% of all GPs who work with us are directly employed by Operose Health, our patients have an enhanced experience of primary care.
Specialist Primary Care Services
We know people experiencing homelessness are more likely to experience health problems and that Asylum seekers and refugees face difficulty in accessing health care.
As part of our purpose to improve access, outcomes and experience for our patients, all of our GP practices are part of the Safe Surgeries Initiative – this means anyone can register with us - regardless of immigration status or having a fixed abode.
Our specialist GP practices for those who are experiencing homelessness or who are asylum seekers go even further to support these groups of patients.
Our specialist GP Practices for Asylum Seekers and those experiencing homelessness help to breakdown barriers to accessing healthcare so these patients do not because a condition is not diagnosed or treated – which ultimately puts a greater strain on the healthcare economy.

Urgent Care Services
Through our urgent care services, we help to reduce the number of A&E attendances within the local healthcare economies we work in by providing enhanced access to minor illness and injury needs.
As an integrated local provider, our teams work alongside hospital colleagues to help local people get the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
We help to educate patients who attend our urgent care services in the most appropriate use of the local primary and urgent care system and help those patients who attend our services, who are not registered with a local GP, to become registered.
